Most Distant Star Ever

In the Face Book group:

Headline: 'Most distant star ever captured in the universe'

My comment:

Hubble detected the fastest hydrogen ion ever.  wow! wow?
I pointed out in my post yesterday about red shifts the emission line is from an ion not the main body.

note:

From the article:
'
The Hubble Space Telescope has broken yet another observing record. The famed observatory has found the most distant "ordinary" star ever observed, at an astounding 9 billion light-years from Earth.
'

The post had a Youtube video and the star looked like a quasar.
