 Galaxy Simulation

From the post

'
A group of scientists has created a computer simulation of the universe in order to test out an alternative theory to Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity. Their study found that galaxies similar to our own Milky Way could still form in the universe with modified laws of gravity, suggesting that the theory of relativity is not the only way to explain gravity's role in the evolution of the universe.

my comment:

Rather than simulating relativity with a different model for gravity, other scientists simulate a galaxy with real electromagnetic behaviors and they can duplicate a spiral galaxy.
This simulation is by a physicist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Anthony Peratt.

The motions observed in spiral galaxy arms are duplicated in this model. Dark matter is needed to needed to compensate for incorrect predictions by other models.
