NSF Commitment to LIGO

I contacted NSF several times about LIGO. Nothing will happen as a result.
My original post on December 11 included the contents of a response to my email.
I did not think to ask for explicit permission to distribute the email contents.
Instead of deleting this entire post I will delete the exchange.
