Culture and Religion

Observations about society, including culture and religion, and about life. With our inherent social nature, group behaviors are important, such as divide and conquer, absolute power, or conformance, in the critical issues of our day. A team with diverse skills can accomplish what an individual cannot. Our problems are solved when we work together.

I often check the internet for the latest news and general information. A number of web sites warrant a daily visit, like antiwar.com and counterpunch.org. Both of these sites offer archives of previous commentaries by their contributors.

The following are several notable sites that address the issues of our foreign policy in Iraq. There are two groups, general articles and those about the lies to convince Americans of the need to invade. These sites are in chronological order. Each author provides his/her own perspective and each article offers that insight. Which insight might seem more important to me is very subjective. Perhaps these articles will be of interest to the reader.

There are several collections of links below:

Fallujah and Haditha

lies about the Plame affair and the Downing Street memo.

Cindy Sheehan.
